Stakeholder / Partnership Experience Sharing

Topraq

As Topraq, we contribute to the GYSU Project through the soil and leaf analyses we conduct. In this way, we support decision making processes based on field data and scientific evidence. The appropriate nutrition programs we develop based on our analyses aim to protect soil health while increasing product quality and productivity, and we systematically monitor the effects of these practices on soil and plants.

Our participation in the GYSU Project as a project partner is based on our institutional approach that proper nutrition management is only possible through measurement, monitoring, and feedback mechanisms. The GYSU Project strongly aligns with our data driven agriculture vision by enabling analysis results to be tested in the field through applied agricultural practices and by allowing concrete outputs to be shared with producers.

Within this framework, as Topraq, we aim to contribute to the dissemination of proper fertilization and nutrition practices through the GYSU Project, to increase producer awareness, and to support the development of sustainable agricultural models that take into account the soil water plant balance. Our expectation from the project is to contribute to strengthening long term agricultural resilience in the Gediz Basin by generating measurable and scalable results that make the field level impact of scientific analyses visible.
