Manisa Bağcılık Araştırma Enstitüsü
Through visits made to our Institute by the project implementing organizations, we obtained comprehensive information about the Water Collective Action Initiative and the GYSU Project. The Manisa Viticulture Research Institute is a well established public research institution with many years of research and field experience, leading the scientific development of viticulture in Türkiye through grape variety breeding, studies on soil plant water relations, applied research aimed at increasing yield and quality, and the dissemination of sustainable production models.
Evaluations carried out in line with our Institute’s scientific expertise and field oriented working approach determined that the aims and objectives of the GYSU Project fully align with our mandate and institutional mission. Within this framework, our Institute has been positioned as a key stakeholder in the scientific validation of project practices, the implementation of pilot field studies, and activities aimed at strengthening producer capacity.
This cooperation was formalized through a signed protocol, under which the contributions of our Institute to the project, based on its knowledge base, research infrastructure, and field experience, were documented within a systematic and sustainable framework. This approach provides a strong foundation for the GYSU Project to generate scientifically based, applicable, and scalable outcomes.
