The overall objective of the Water Collective Action Programs implemented by Diageo in various regions of the world is to contribute to the long term resolution of challenges faced in water basins through nature based solutions. These programs are a core component of the company’s global sustainability and climate resilience approach.

Based on the understanding that water risks cannot be addressed solely through on site measures, a basin scale and multi stakeholder collaboration model is adopted. This represents a water management approach that extends beyond facility boundaries.

In order to increase the impact of the efforts, it is aimed to act jointly, where conditions allow, through cooperation with public institutions, non governmental organizations, cooperatives, professional associations, and the private sector.
